3/27/2018, Fighting client's speeding in DeKalb Recorders Court

On Tuesday, March 27,  2018, I appeared with my client in  DeKalb Recorders Court
.
My client had been charged with speeding, driving 56 MPH in a 40 MPH zone.

Following negotiation with the prosecutor, I was able to get the charge reduced to a basic rules violation.

This is a reduction from the original speeding ticket in exchange for my client completing a defensive driving class and paying a total court fine of $208.

I previously had my client complete the defensive driving class and he has his certificate with him today. My client paid the fine and the fees today and the case is now closed.

This case will not be reported to the Georgia Department of driver services.   There will be no points added to my client driving record, and his insurance company will not be made aware of this situation.

This client is another very happy client of the Alpharetta, Georgia speeding ticket defense attorney Scott Miller.
