Can I plead no contest a second time in Georgia?
I got a call this week from a potential client who said, "I was just stop for driving without insurance. I pleaded no contest to a previous traffic ticket three years ago. Can I also plead no contest for the driving without insurance charge?"
A no contest plea can only be used once every five years. If you enter a no contest plea before five years you will be treated as if you pled guilty.
This information is provided to you by the traffic ticket defense attorney Scott Miller, in Alpharetta, Georgia. You may contact attorney Miller at 770-408-1001 for a free consultation.
