I am on my way to Alpharetta Municipal Court to deal with a client's bench warrant. This warrant for his arrest was issued because of his failure to appear in court for a simple traffic citation.
Now, this simple traffic ticket has turned into the more severe misdemeanor charge of failing to appear in court.

The lesson to be learned here is, do not under any circumstances miss your appointed court date. If there are reasons that you cannot be present on a particular date, an attorney can arrange to have that date changed. Your attorney may also be able appear in your behalf, without you being present.

If you have questions about the above, or if you have an Issue with failure to appear, contact the experienced Alpharetta criminal defense attorney Scott Miller. 770-408-1001
