I'm in the Milton, GA. Municipal Court defending my client against the charge of passing a loading or unloading school bus.

The laws in the State of Georgia require that all vehicle traffic, in each direction of travel, must come to a stop when approaching a loading or unloading school bus.
The period of time that the vehicle must remain stopped includes when the stop signs are extended, even though the school children have already entered the bus.

After considerable negotiation with the prosecutor, I was able to get my defendants charge dismissed.

The above information is provided to you by the Alpharetta, GA. traffic ticket defense Attorney Scott Miller. If you have similar traffic issues you wish to discuss or if you wish to discuss other criminal matters, you may call attorney Scott Miller at 770-408-1001 for a free consultation.
