Getting under age driver's super speeder ticket reduced in Cobb County

On Thursday, October 26, 2017,  I appeared with my client in Cobb County State Court.

My client, who is under 21 years of age, was ticketed for doing 72 mph in a 45 mph zone.

If convicted my client would’ve had his drivers license suspended.  However, following negotiations with the prosecutor I was able to get his speed reduced to 14 mph over the limit.
This issue will be treated as a simple speeding ticket.

My client will have to pay a fine of $173, however there will be no suspension of his license, no points added to his driving record, and his insurance company will not be informed about this incident.

This is a big victory for an under 21 driver charged with a super speeder ticket.
