Smart phone use increases car insurance rates.

According to the Wall Street Journal, smart phone use increases car insurance rates.
In an article which appeared Tuesday, February 21, 2017, the costs associated with vehicle crashes outpaced the premium increases for some companies.
The article goes on to state "this is an epidemic issue for this country."
Distracted driving by cell phone use, and Internet devices, has caused the average US car insurance premium to rise to an estimated $926 per year in 2016.

The number of deadly accidents increased by 7.2% in 2015.

It seems that reasonable people would put away their cell phones and Internet devices while driving.
However, statistics prove that wrong.

I don't drive distracted, put away your Internet devices.
