The laws of the State of Georgia prohibit any container which is open to contain an alcoholic beverage,or to br present inside the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. In addition the law prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages inside a motor vehicle. This means that the passengers may not drink an alcoholic beverage or be in possession of an open container of alcohol.
