Hi-end car manufacturer Tesla targets car-sharing.

According to the Wall Street Journal, "Tesla motors Incorporated plans to charge buyers of its newest cars $8000 to activate autonomous driving technology."
According to the article, "Tesla is planning to launch a ride sharing business."

This appears to be another step forward for autonomous driving cars and ride sharing cars.

It is interesting to speculate, whether the owner of the car, or a ride sharing passenger, or the Telsa Motor Company, would be liable in the event of a traffic collision.
