The city of Marietta has announced, that it will install several flashing yellow arrows to indicate when left turns are permitted, after drivers yield to other traffic.
The Federal Highway administration has announced that up to 20% fewer crashes occur with flashing yellow arrows.
It also stated that, drivers are less confused and make fewer mistakes when turning with a flashing yellow arrow.
