According to the Wall Street Journal, Taser international Inc. is exploring the concept of drones armed with stun guns for used by police.
Police could ride to the area were an armed suspect is located using and armored personnel carrier, then deploy the drone and disable the suspect.
Following the number of recent officer deaths, police everywhere are looking for safeguards to protect their officers,
