Fighting Florida client speeding ticket in Alpharetta
Wednesday, March 6, 2019: I appeared for my client in the Alpharetta Municipal court.

He is a Florida resident and was not able to return to Alpharetta to attend court.

My client had provided me a copy of a Florida defensive driving course which had been completed.

My client had been charged with driving 83 mph in a 65 mph zone.  Which is 18 mph over the speed limit.

Georgia code 40-6-181 states that anyone convicted of speeding 15 to 18 mph over the speed limit will have two points added to their driving record.

After negotiation with the prosecutor I was able to get my client’s speed reduced to 14 mph over the limit.

I paid my his fine of $187.50 out of my general funds, which I will be able to bill to the client, and his case is closed.

This client is a another very happy client of the Alpharetta, Georgia traffic ticket defense attorney Scott Miller.
