Use of Lanes on Expressways
Drivers operating vehicles on expressways or divided highways must drive to the right of the median, unless directed otherwise by a sign, traffic control device, or police officer. Drivers must obey the yellow or white lines on the roadway that indicates lanes, the convergence of lanes, or areas in which vehicles should not operate. Drivers may only enter or exit controlled-access roadways at designated entrances and exits.
