Fog- The GA 2012 Drivers manual recommends
If at all possible, you should avoid driving in heavy fog. If you must drive, the GA recommended guidelines suggest.
Reduce driving speed.
Reduce speed further if you see headlights or red tail lights. Red lights indicate the presence of another vehicle and, due to fog, it can be more difficult to judge the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you.
The GA Driver's manual suggests you dim your headlights. Bright lights produce a glare in heavy fog,  making it more difficult to see than when using regular headlights.
Don't drive with parking or hazard lights on.
