1. Pull your car safely to the side of the road.
2. Turn off your car's motor.
3. Roll down your driver side window all the way.
4. If you are stopped at night turn on your cars interior lights.
5. Place both of your hands on the top of the steering wheel and keep them there.
Calm yourself, be polite and cooperate with the police officer. Not cooperating and being impolite to the police officer may increase your chances of getting a traffic ticket.
