In Georgia, a reckless driver is defined as a person who drives any vehicle with reckless disregard for the safety of persons or property.
Reckless driving in Georgia is a misdemeanor which is a criminal offense.  If found guilty of a misdemeanor, punishment can be a fine and imprisonment of up to one year.
