The various governmental agencies that regulate our waterways will be on alert for boaters that have consumed excessive alcohol.  These agencies look for erratic behavior of watercraft.  If the operator of the boat has a blood alcohol level of .10 or higher the operator is assumed to be less safe and can be charged with boating under the influence.
