On September 28, 2016, I appeared in Alpharetta Municipal court to defend my client against a DUI charge.
My client has a commercial drivers license and drives a truck for work.
After negotiations with the prosecutor, I had this case bound over to Fulton State Court. This will allow more time for discovery, and delay the resolution in this case.
Delaying the resolution is a tactic that can often be helpful.
It allows a client to continue to work without having his or her license suspended.
Possibly, this case may fall through the crack and eventually not be prosecuted.
This information is provided for others facing DUI charges.
