Fighting client's probation violation in Gwinnett County. On February 23, 2017, I met with my client who was in custody in a holding cell in Gwinnett County. My client had been charged with probation violation. He had previously entered a first offender plea on a drug possession case. Early on, my client failed to attend his drug treatment program. After negotiations, I convince the court that it would be in my client's best interest, if he would be allowed to enter the drug treatment program named drug court. I got the court to reinstate his probation sentence and to modify it, to allow him to enter the drug court rehabilitation program.
