8/27/2012-My twenty year old client was charged with underage DUI driving. I appeared with her today in Fulton State Court.
I was able to convince the judge to reschedule the case until after the client's twenty first birthday, which was coming up in a few months.
Had she been found guilty of DUI on that day, her driving privileges would have been suspended, without the possibility of a limited driver's license. If she is convicted of DUI after the age of twenty one, she can be issued a limited driver's license.
We now have additional time to fight the DUI charge.
