I appeared in the City of Woodstock Municipal Court on behalf of my client. His court date had been set early. I convinced the prosecutor that discovery was ongoing and incomplete. He agreed to reschedule until next month. My client's blood alcohol content was recorded at .093, which is slightly above the legal limit. I am working to get the charge settled for a lessor charge than DUI. The extension of time will give me more time to obtain and review the evidence and negotiate for the lessor charge.
