There are two types of breath test utilized in Georgia.  One is the handheld alcohol breath sensor device.
The second test is the state administered breath test which is performed by use of the Intoxilyzer machine.

The handheld machine is used roadside to determine if the driver is impaired.

The state administered test is used after a driver is arrested.  This state administered test is given after the arresting officer reads the implied consent warning to the arrested driver.
The results of this testing and any other testing done by law-enforcement officers can be used against you in court.
