If a Georgia driver's license is suspended, all driving privileges are temporarily withdrawn for a specific period of time or until all the reinstatement requirements have been completed.  At the end of the suspension period, a Georgia resident may apply for driver's privileges and the return of the license. Non-residents may apply for reinstatement of driving privileges
