Crosswalks are established at intersections on roadways to provide a safe crossing point for pedestrians. All vehicles must come to a stop at a crosswalk that is occupied by a pedestrian. The vehicle must remain stopped until the pedestrian has cleared the crosswalk. Remember pedestrians have the right away at any crosswalk.
If a vehicle is making a turn at any intersection either right or left, a pedestrian crossing the intersection has the right away.
If there is a pedestrian in a roadway crosswalk, all traffic make must come to a stop to allow the pedestrian to cross safely.
