In Alpharetta Municipal Court defending my client against the charge of expired registration. My client had recently moved to Georgia from North Carolina.  He was stopped for speeding on Georgia 400 and charged with speeding and expired registration. He was unaware that the Georgia law requires when a new resident moves to the state.

Georgia law requires that any person who moved to the state of Georgia must register their vehicle with the Georgia Department of motor vehicles within 30 days of arrival. Failure to do so may lead to charges of driving a vehicle without proper registration.

If you have questions about the above, or if you have been charge with improper vehicle registration, contact traffic ticket defense attorney Scott Miller in Alpharetta, Georgia for a free consultation. 770-408-1001
