Alpharetta GA. Attorney Scott Miller says, "failure to appear in court is not good."
I got a call recently from someone in Ohio who received a speeding ticket while passing through Georgia. He was supposed to appear in court to answer the charges, however he ignored the matter.
He now realizes this is unwise and he was asking questions about clearing up the matter.
I agree with him that failing to appear in court is unwise, because if he drives through Georgia again, and he is stopped by the police, he will be arrested for failure to appear. With two major north-south interstate highways running through Georgia, there are many people on their way to Florida who are ticketed by the police. It is always unwise to ignore these traffic citations.
