Son't be a fool in April by letting your tag expire!

Georgia law requires that motor vehicles driven on city or state roads must have a current tag/vehicle registration.

Your current vehicle registration informs you of the date that it will expire.
Your local County vehicle registration office will send you a form to keep your vehicle registration up-to-date. This form arrives at your last address at least one month before your registration expires.
Many individuals wait until the last moment to renew your tag/vehicle registration.

Don't procrastinate, mail in your renewal as soon as you get it.

If you are stopped with an expired vehicle registration in all probability you will be arrested and taken to jail. Your vehicle will be impounded, and in order to get the vehicle returned to your possession, you will have to pay an impound fee.

If you have been charged with an expired tag/registration, you may contact the Alpharetta, Georgia traffic ticket defense attorney Scott Miller for a free consultation.
