Fighting client’s super speeder ticket in Forsyth State Court
On Thursday, June 6, 2019, I appeared in Forsyth State Court accompanied by my client. He was ticketed for driving 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. If my client had plead guilty by paying the fine, he would also have to pay an additional $200 to the State of Georgia.
Fortunately for my client, after negotiation with the prosecutor, I got the court to agree to reduce his speed to 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. This is 14 miles an hour over the speed limit and is non-reportable to the state of Georgia.
My client will be required to complete one defensive driving class. Then he must then pay the fine and submit proof of completion of the defensive driving class.
After this is completed, my client’s charge will be dropped.
This is another very happy client of the Alpharetta, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Milton, traffic ticket defense attorney Scott Miller.
