Fighting client's following too close in College Park, GA.
March 20, 2015, I was in the College Park City Court to defend my client against a following too close/accident charge. My client lives in another state and I appeared for him. After negotiations with the prosecutor, I was able to get the charge dismissed after providing proof that my client's insurance Company had taken care of the repairs to the other drivers car.
A citation is almost always given to the driver of the vehicle that collides with another vehicle from the rear.
This citation is called following too closely.
This was a happy day for my client because of the fact that, his charge was dismissed and because he did not have to return to Georgia to attend court.
