On Monday, March 5, 2018, I appeared with my client and his father in the Fulton County Juvenile Court. My client was charged with driving 100 mph in a 65 mph zone.
Following negotiation with the prosecutor, I got the court to agree to reduce my client’s Speed to 74 mph, which is 9 mph over the speed limit. My client is required to take a defensive driving class, which I have already had him complete. He will be required to produce a one page essay on the dangers of speeding and drive only two in from necessities, school, work, etc. He’s required to pay a $100 fine today and he is placed on phone in probation for 30 days.
This is a wonderful outcome for this young man and his family. He could have lost all driving privileges.
