Getting client's stop sign violation dismissed in Alpharetta.

In December, I appeared with my client in Alpharetta Municipal Court, he had been charged with failure to stop at a stop sign.

Georgia code 40-6-72, failure to stop, states that a driver of the vehicle approaching a stop sign shall stop at a clearly marked stop line. If there is no stop line, the driver must stop before entering the crosswalk.

In this particular case, my client had attempted to stop after crossing the marked stop line.

After discussion with the prosecutor, I was able to convince the court to dismiss my client’s charge.

This is another very happy client of the Alpharetta, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Milton, Johns Creek traffic ticket defense attorney Scott Miller.
