After considerable negotiation with the prosecutor, I was able to get my client’s speed reduced to 64 mph in a 50 mph zone. This is 14 mph over the limit and there for is a simple speeding ticket. My client paid a court fine and is required to complete a defensive driving class. This incident will not be reported to the Georgia department of motor vehicles and his insurance company will not be able to find out about it.
