Getting client's expired registration charge dismissed in Milton, GA. I recently had a client who had been charged in Milton, Georgia with an expired vehicle registration violation. The Georgia law states that a vehicle without current and proper registration may not be operated on any road, street, or highway, within the state. The officer issued my client a citation but fortunately did not impound his car. After the client hired me, I went to work by contacting the prosecutor and asking for a pretrial discussion.
