Got client’s speeding ticket reduced in Alpharetta.

On Wednesday, February 20, 2019, I appeared with my client in Alpharetta Municipal Court.

My client had received a speeding ticket for going 68 mph in a 45 mph zone.

Georgia code 40–6–181 requires, that anyone convicted of speeding 19 to 23 mph over the limit will have three points added to their record at the Georgia Department of driver’s services.

Following negotiation with the prosecutor, I was able to get my client’s speed reduced to 59 mph, which is 14 mph over the limit.

At 14 mph over the limit this becomes a non-reportable incident to the Georgia Department of driver services.

This is another very happy client of the Alpharetta/Roswell/Sandy Springs, traffic ticket defense attorney Scott Miller.
