In Gwinnett recorders court defending my client against speeding.
The speed limit in most municipalities in Georgia is 35 mph. It may feel safe to drive in excess of this limit on a particular stretch of road. The point of law is that if you exceed the speed limit on any Georgia Road, you may be stopped by a law-enforcement officer and charged with exceeding the speed limit. This charge may be compounded by additional charges, if the law-enforcement officer observes any other violations as the result of the stop. All of these charges may have been avoided by simply driving your vehicle at or below the posted speed limit.
