Preventing 19-year-old client’s drivers license suspension On October 26, 2018, at 3:16 PM: I appeared in Gwinnett Recorders Court with my 19 year old client. He had charged with speeding 86 mph in a 65 mph zone. This ticket is a super speeder ticket and if convicted my client would lose his drivers license, because he is under 21 years age. After considerable negotiation with the prosecutor, I got my client’s speed reduced to 79 in a 65. This is 14 mph over the limit and therefore is not a super speeder ticket and will not reported to the Georgia Department of motor vehicles. My client only had pay a court fine and take a defensive driving course.
