Red light cameras are mounted at various intersections in many of Georgia's communities. These red light cameras monitor traffic flow through the intersection, and photograph a car and it's license plate, if that car has violated the red light.
There is some question raised about right turning cars on red lights and cars caught in an intersection when the light is yellow.
You can avoid all concerns about these questions if you follow common sense.
It is wise to, and makes commonsense to, always approach an intersection with caution, looking both ways, and slowing your vehicle before you enter the intersection. If the traffic light is yellow, do not enter the intersection.
