Georgia move over law: Georgia code 40 –6–16, “requires drivers to move over to the next lane, if safely possible, when passing a stationary emergency vehicle, towing vehicle, or recovery vehicle, when their lights are flashing.”

If you are ticketed for failure to move over, and you are convicted of the offense, the fine in Georgia can be up to $500.
