The typical rush hour Friday afternoon traffic in metro Atlanta today. Many slowdowns and accidents to report:
The off ramp at l-285 south at Lavista Road is blocked because of an accident which is still present. Traffic congested at this time.
On GA-400 N. and 285 Abernathy exit, the left lane is blocked because of an accident. Move to the right to avoid excessive delay.
Construction work is delaying traffic on Glenridge Drive and I-85. Traffic moving at 15 to 20 mph.
And accident at Piedmont Avenue and I-85. Traffic congestion moving at 10 to 15 mph.
And accident reported that I-20 W. at Moreland Avenue at least three lanes are blocked with considerable debris in the road. Traffic backed up for 1 to 2 miles.
And accident reported at Trinity Avenue and Peachtree Street. Police are on scene, slow going on Peachtree Street. Heavy traffic reported.
Throughout the metro Atlanta Friday traffic is slow and congested at 5:00 PM.
