Georgia’s Staff Sergeant Nicholas Davis awarded the Solders Medal for valor.
Georgia native staff Sergeant Nicholas Davis, who is serving with the 101st airborne division in North Carolina, is credited with saving a family from a burning vehicle.
Staff Sergeant Davis was awarded the soldiers medal for his heroism. This is the Army’s highest peacetime award for valor.
