Pedestrian hit and killed trying to cross I–20

According to the AJC.com, a pedestrian in Rockdale County was hit and killed trying to cross I-20.

Georgia State patrol reported that at mile marker 80 westbound on l-20, a pedestrian standing on the shoulder of the road was struck by two vehicles and killed.

Sadly, this is another loss of life that did not have to happen.

The interstate highway system is closed to all pedestrian traffic.
Bad things can and do happen when pedestrians attempt to cross the interstate highway.
