In November, I appeared in Fulton County Court with my client who was accused of fraud and theft by taking. Following negotiation with the prosecutor, I convinced to court to prevent my client from having to serve time in jail.
The court allowed my client to pay back the restitution amount claimed by the prosecution. My client was unable to pay this in full at one time, so I negotiated for a payback over a period of time. When the restitution amount is paid in full the case will be dismissed.
