On Wednesday, I appeared with my client in Dunwoody City Court to fight her shoplifting charge.
This was my client’s first in a lifetime shoplifting charge.
After negotiation with the prosecutor, I was able to get the charge dismissed.
My client will have to attend a shoplifting prevention course and write an essay addressing the harm done by shoplifting.
This is another example of when good people do foolish things.
