September 26, 2012 I appeared in the superior Court of Fulton County to argue on behalf of my client who is accused of multiple charges of fraud and theft by taking. I negotiated with the prosecutor and the judge to keep my client from having to serve time in jail. The amount she was ordered to pay back as restitution was less than the amount claimed by the prosecution. I convinced the prosecution to allow my client to pay back the restitution over a period of time and when it is paid back the case will be dismissed. She will be treated as a first offender.
